Centro Porsche Bologna promotes the award of the same name for Arte Fiera 2018 in support of contemporary art and the values ​​it supports, combining tradition and technological innovation in products of excellence, and is aimed at all artists participating in the fair "able to combine, in art as in mechanics, the idea of ​​excellence in making and of form that arises from an internal need for function ". For all these reasons, Martino Genchi was chosen as the winner of the Bologna Porsche Center Award, present at Arte Fiera with a monographic project included in the Modernity monographic course, within the main section. The stand of the Galleria Michela Rizzo in Venice presented a selection of works related to the artist's research on the perception of space. In particular, Linger was revealed in the form of a series of sculptures, in synthetic plaster, which arise from car headlights, as if it were the concrete rendering of the light beam deposited in the here and now. The Prize consists in the creation of a personal exhibition of the winning artist at the Porsche Center in Bologna.
