On the theme of multimedia visual writing and visual poetry, the invited artists, Irma Blank, German by origin, Italian by adoption and Silvie Defraoui, Swiss German by origin, French by adoption, are the protagonists of research that has expanded the horizon of the collective imagination, of the phenomenology of perception and emotional intelligence, both in the area of ​​creativity and interaction with the viewer. The exhibition, conceived for the spaces of the Venetian gallery, outlines a path of reflection and seduction, in a cultural vision that never ceases to combine suggestions from the East and the West, relating to the language of writing, released from the page to become a breath cosmic and individual, with a Zen sign, in the blue pictorial trace of Irma Blank and a hypnotic and evocative screen of projections of the mind in the video-installations, in the neon lighting of the word, in the slips of the image and the story, in the fragments of the sentence, by Silvie Defraoui. Irma Blank presents a significant selection from the cycle, started in the 1980s, called Radical Writings, and Silvie Defraoui, presents, alongside the videos and neon, a selection of Écriture decoupée, taken from the Orient / Occident cycle of the work Archives du futur, started in 1975 with her husband, who died in 1994, Chérif Defraoui. Both artists have been invited to international exhibitions such as Documenta, in Kassel, and La Biennale di Venezia.
