HAPPY TOGETHER! is a conversation on physical and virtual space between visual artists Francesco Jodice and The Cool Couple (Niccolò Benetton & Simone Santilli). What space do we decide to live in and what cultural translations does the era of forced isolation imply on the individual conception of the places and dimensions where we will decide to live? Starting from personal and immersive experiences in gaming landscapes and metropolises, the authors discuss the new and expanded verisimilitude and usability of "being" in the virtual landscape, of living in the game.
In 1971, the Japanese metabolist architect Kishō Kurokawa defined his Nagakin Capsule Tower with these words. «The capsule is a cyborg architecture. Man, technology and space build a new organic body, architecture will henceforth take on the character of equipment. " Jodice and The Cool Couple will discuss the "gamification of everyday life", talking about it "from the inside", that is, telling us about the possibility of looking for a modern form of happiness within the landscape-panorama of virtual and video-playful worlds.
The meeting will be introduced at 5.00 pm by a live conversation between Lorenza Bravetta, a member of the Scientific Committee of Triennale Milano, and Simone Santilli, The Cool Couple, on the Triennale Milano Instagram channel.
At 5.15 pm, from an online multiplayer, the avatars of the three artists will interact with each other directly “inside a video game” on the Facebook channels of Triennale Milano and Milano Digital Week.
